Product responsibility

As an importer INF Import is under an obligation to make sure that all our electric and electronic products are recycled in accordance with the producer responsibility regulation (SFS 2005:209, European Parliament and the Councils directive 2002/96/EG). In Sweden, INF Import is a member of El-kretsen AB, responsible for the national recycling system and reporting to the public authorities. In Europe INF Import is represented by corresponding organizations in Germany, Denmark and Norway. Our WEEE registration number in Germany is DE 55618020.

Through the directive 2002/95/EG (RoHS), the use of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium and flame retardants as PBB and PBDE is prohibited in new electric and electronic products on the European market from 1/7 2006. INF Import will secure that all our products fulfil these requirements, through certificates performed by independent laboratories.

Ethical considerations

We always inspect the manufactures in China before starting collaboration. INF Import does not collaborate with producers, which shows signs of poor working conditions, as unreasonable working hours, unsafe, dusty or noisy environments, or child labour.
